Is the GOP Really America’s Domestic Enemy?

If anyone's been reading any of my posts on here, you'd have noticed a couple where I have compared the old National Socialist Party of German in the 1930's to the current Republikan Party (intentional spelling).  I have always loved history and consider myself a student of history.  Not as much the politicis because that is all BS and nothing more then an exercise in popularity contests and manipulation of the masses.  But the impact of actions and the different courses society takes.

Well, if you click on the link in the title of this post, you will be able to read an article by Eric L. Wattree regarding this very same comparison.  And he does a much better job then I ever could.  The interesting thing is that I know what he is referring to when he makes comments about what the Nazi's did.  It is actually documented in their archives and written up in the history books.  Read this article by Eric L. Wattree and then tell me if you don't agree with it...but make sure that you have supporting facts to back up your argument and not just the standard Republikan cliches and mantras.

The One-Percenters

This is a fabulous article by Roger Ebert.  I would never have thought that this kind of commentary would come from him.  After all, I always thought of him as just a movie critic.  Click on the link in this blog title and read his commentary completely.  He brings up the same points that I have in this blog...except that he does it better.  He keeps asking the same questions that I have raised -

1.  Why wasn't anyone charged with any crime for the financial crisis that we are going through? 
2.  Why aren't the Teabaggers angry and indignant toward those that actually caused the problems we are experiencing, instead of the victim?

The attitudes of the One-Percenters is not new.  That attitude has shown itself throughout history with previous One-Percenters.  And I have to say...it didn't work out so well for the historic One-Percenters - the Aristocracy of France and the last Tsar and his family in Russia.

I have stated before that the tactics used by the Republikans since Baby Bush was elected as President was right out of Hitler's Germany playbook. In the 1930's it was the Communists that were out to destroy the German way of life. Today, according it is the gays and minorities.

And we are now repeating history.  But there are other aspects of history that the "aristocrats" of American should pay heed to.  Specifically, The French Revolution. Although the similarlities are not exact, there is an overwhelming connection between the aristocrats of that period in France and many of the politcal and industrial individual and classes today.
